Dr Albert Apkalu

Dr Apkalu is consultant neurologist and the Head of Neurology & Neurophysiology, Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra Ghana. He doubles as a Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Medicine and Therapeutics, School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Ghana.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Physicians and Surgeons, London and in 2018, was elected as the elected as Secretary-General of the West African College of Physicians. He has been an active member of the International League Against Epilepsy and a strong advocate for renewed mental health and innovative treatment approaches in in black populations West Africa.
