Together with another colleague, we are organizing a symposium at the Intecol2022 conference taking place in Switzerland in Aug. 2022 (http://intecol2021.org).
Within our symposium, we aim to cover the topics on the animal sensory systems and the limits and flexibility of the sensory responses (like impairment of vision, hearing, mechano- and chemoreception) under environmental perturbation including climate change and other anthropogenic activities (like light, noise and chemical pollution, or habitat loss).
We also aim to recruit speakers from the global South, with special focus on African speakers. As you have a broad expertise in neurobiology, perhaps you can point me to a lab that might focus on sensory ecology under the aspects of anthropogenic impact.
